A set of six circular napkin rings crafted from silver with niello inlay decoration. This style of work is characteristic of the Amara region in Iraq, typically dating to the mid-20th century. Each ring features a continuous frieze of traditional Mesopotamian and riverine scenes. The illustrations include the Arch of Ctesiphon (Taq Kasra), a mosque with a central dome and minaret, and various boats including dhows and mashoof canoes set against stylised palm trees. Further scenes depict a camel caravan, Bedouin tents, and grazing sheep. One ring is marked with a signature in Arabic script, transcribed as Dayil.
