The design features a dark madder-red field containing four vertically arranged, stepped hexagonal medallions. The two outer medallions are executed in deep indigo with internal geometric details, while the two central medallions are rendered in vibrant ochre-orange. The field is densely populated with tribal filler motifs, including geometric stars, birds, and floral sprays. The central field is enclosed by a series of narrow guard borders featuring reciprocal triangles and zig-zags, and a wider border with a repeating hooked S or latch-hook pattern.
