The central composition consists of a vertical column of nested, stepped medallions interspersed with tree of life motifs and scattered animal figures. The field is further decorated with polychrome boteh and star elements. The top left corner features a black, irregularly shaped cartouche containing an inscription applied in hand-knotted pile.
