A Southeast Asian walking cane featuring a silver handle and a dark-stained tapered hardwood shaft. The silver handle is decorated in high-relief repousse and chased work depicting figures in traditional Southeast Asian dress set against a background of dense foliate and scrollwork within four horizontal registers. The flat top cap of the handle bears an engraved interlaced monogram consisting of the characters A, W, and S. A plain silver collar at the base of the handle is engraved with the characters T.P.R.T. 9. A black braided cord wrist strap is looped through the silver handle. The shaft terminates in a bi-metal ferrule composed of a brass sleeve and a steel tip.
