The dagger comprises a curved, double-edged blade crafted from a light-coloured organic material, possibly bone or horn, showing a natural grain and surface patination. The hilt is of traditional I-shaped form, The hilt features a seated figure at the pommel and a central circular medallion containing approximately three lines of incised characters; these characters are not legible as a name or specific inscription. The matching steel scabbard is similarly decorated work, depicting a seated figure in a long robe, a long-necked wine flask (surahi), and a rabbit within the central medallions.
