An antique cut lead crystal bell-shaped decanter by Osler. The vessel features a short, faceted neck with a ground internal surface, designed to accommodate a stopper. The body is intricately decorated with multiple bands of high-quality geometric cutting. The wide central section displays a repeating pattern of large cross-cut diamonds, each containing multi-pointed starbursts and fine strawberry diamond infill. This central frieze is bordered above and below by horizontal bands of standard diamond cutting. The flared foot displays radial vertical fluting ending in a notched, scalloped rim. The base is finished with a deep, many-pointed ray-cut sunburst.
