A flared pottery bowl of truncated conical form, constructed from buff earthenware with a lead glaze. The decoration is applied in underglaze black slip. The interior rim features a continuous band of Kufic calligraphy, while the central tondo is decorated with a large interlaced knot roundel. The exterior is encircled by a single broad horizontal band around the midpoint.
