The piece is constructed from aged brown leather straps mounted with silver-toned metal decorative elements, likely a low-grade silver alloy or silver-plated copper. The ornament features six semicircular side plaques attached to the leather by decorative circular bosses. Each plaque is decorated with repousse and chased foliate scrolls surrounding a central circular medallion with a floral motif. A central bell-shaped vessel pendant is suspended from the junction of the straps, featuring a flared rim and chased C-scroll and floral decoration. The vertical and diagonal straps are embellished with square metal slides and bands with repeating floral patterns. Simple metal buckles are located at the top and on the central vertical strap for adjustment.
