An Omani silver pectoral necklace featuring a central horizontal cylindrical talisman case, known as a hirz. The pendant is decorated with intricate applied filigree, granulation, and geometric wirework bands. Seven sets of double-linked chains are suspended from the base, each terminating in a small spherical bell-shaped charm. A row of eleven accent beads is positioned above the pendant, consisting of banded agate, carnelian, and opaque black and white glass beads. The main body of the necklace comprises six large hollow spherical beads with vertical filigree decoration and granulated spacers. The necklace terminates in two tapered conical end-caps which join a flexible multi-strand woven wire chain finished with a simple hook and loop clasp. The silver-toned metal exhibits a heavy, dark patina and tarnish throughout.
