An Anglo-Indian wood table cabinet of rectangular form, featuring a fall-front design and comprehensive micro-mosaic inlay. The exterior and interior surfaces are decorated with intricate geometric and foliate motifs in the Sadeli tradition, utilising bone and mother-of-pearl. The fall-front opens to reveal an architectural interior comprising seven drawers of varying sizes and a central cupboard door. Each drawer is fitted with a turned-brass drop handle and decorated with horizontal bands of mother-of-pearl inlay and scrolling vines. The exterior is further detailed with a central shaped cartouche on the front, flanked by geometric medallions and borders of six-pointed stars. The top of the cabinet is equipped with a stout, turned-brass carrying handle. The corners and edges are reinforced with brass bindings. A key is present in the lock of the fall-front.
