Featuring a pear-shaped hammered body with a prominent central raised rib. The vessel has a long, tapering neck ending in a flared, flat rim. A cast handle is attached, arched and decorated with a section of raised horizontal ribbing near the centre. The handle features a stylised thumbpiece where it meets the rim. The ewer is supported by a low, flared conical foot. The body construction appears wrought from sections, with a planished texture visible on the base.
