The subject is shown wearing a pleated nemes headdress with a central uraeus cobra at the brow and the remains of a ceremonial false beard, almond-shaped eyes with elongated cosmetic lines and a subtle smile. An incised cartouche is present on the right shoulder, identifying the figure as Amenhotep III (reigned c. 1391–1351 BC) through his prenomen, Nebmaatre, which consists of a sun disc (Ra), a seated goddess with a feather (Maat), and a basket sign (Neb). The work is a significant fragment, with the left shoulder and lower body missing. The sculpture is mounted on a modern tiered black stone plinth via a central metal support rod.
