This Arabic manuscript is a composite volume of mathematical and inheritance treatises by the medieval scholar Shihab al-Din Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Ha’im al-Maqdisi (ca. 1352–1412). The volume includes his work on arithmetic, Ghunyat al-Hussab fi ilm al-hisab (The Satisfaction of Calculators in the Science of Arithmetic), and a treatise on inheritance calculations (manasikhat). The text is written in naskh script in black ink, with headings and key terms in red. The manuscript contains several geometric diagrams, tables, and calculation schemas throughout the text. The colophon identifies the scribe as Ali Yusuf ibn al-Haj Husayn Hammudah and provides a date corresponding to 1122 AH – 1710–1711 A.D.
