The works are rendered in the Rajput or Kangra style tradition of Northern India, likely dating from the late 19th to mid-20th century. Each painting is enclosed within a decorative yellow border featuring floral scrollwork and the group is mounted together in a single frame. The iconography depicts the Hindu deity Krishna, identified by his blue skin and halo, alongside his consort Radha. The four scenes include an interior setting with the couple wrapped in a red shawl, a garden scene with the figures seated on a floral dais, a landscape by a lake with lotus flowers where Krishna holds Radha’s hand, and an outdoor scene beneath a tree where Krishna lifts Radha’s veil.
