The central text is written in fine black Nasta’liq script on a gold-flecked ground, with individual lines separated by scalloped gold cloud illumination. The main text block is surrounded by a wide, vibrant ultramarine blue border decorated with repeating floral sprays of irises or lilies executed in gold. A narrow border featuring a white scrolling vine motif on a dark green ground frames the central calligraphy. The document features three distinct inscriptions above the main body of text. At the top centre is a single line of gold calligraphy containing a pious invocation.
