A collection of twelve individual Islamic and Persian manuscript leaves, executed in various scripts and styles. The assortment includes large-format leaves featuring bold Muhaqqaq script in black ink with red vocalisation, primarily containing Quranic verses such as Surah Yunus (10:40-49). Other leaves are written in fine Naskh script, often accompanied by interlinear Persian translations in a smaller Nasta’liq hand. Several pages display a four-column layout characteristic of Persian epic poetry, written in fluid Nasta’liq. The leaves are decorated with gold and blue ruled borders, illuminated marginal medallions, and gold leaf spacers between verses. The manuscripts are produced on hand-laid paper using black, red, and blue inks. A blue pencil numeral 52 is written at the bottom centre margin of several leaves. Some items have been trimmed from their original bindings and are mounted on modern cream cardstock.
