Buyer's Premium:

An Omani silver-mounted khanjar dagger, featuring a strongly curved double-edged steel blade with a prominent central medial ridge. The hilt is embellished with silver mounts, including a collar and pommel cap with chased scrolling foliate and geometric borders. The L-shaped scabbard contains a wooden core, with the front face entirely encased in intricate silverwork. The throat section displays horizontal bands of repoussé and chased scrolling foliage, while the main body is densely decorated with fine silver wire filigree and granulation in nested V-shapes and paisley motifs. The chape is finished with a silver terminal featuring foliate designs. A central leather band is fitted with four large silver rings connected by multiple strands of twisted silver wire. The reverse of the scabbard is covered in a dark brown fibrous material, likely felt or velvet.
