A silver finger ring of characteristic medieval stirrup form, dating approximately from the 13th to 15th century. The hoop tapers from a rounded base to a high, pointed apex at the bezel. The exterior surface is decorated with engraved pictorial and geometric motifs, retaining traces of original gilding against the silver body. One shoulder depicts a stylized bird with outspread wings, possibly a hawk or eagle, facing towards the bezel. The opposite shoulder and bezel area are engraved with geometric patterns, including a visible five-petalled star or cinqfoil motif. The interior of the hoop is smooth and undecorated.
