This antique Middle Eastern coffee pot, known as a dallah, is constructed from hand-hammered copper with applied brass sections. The form comprises a bulbous lower body tapering to a waisted midsection, a high-arching handle, and a characteristic long, crescent-shaped spout. The hinged, conical lid is tiered and surmounted by a tall, pointed finial with a flared, serrated thumbpiece. The body and lid are decorated with multiple horizontal bands of incised and chased ornamentation featuring repeating diamond and triangular patterns, foliate scrolling bands, and notched borders along the spout and lid rim. A modern white adhesive inventory label is fixed to the lower body reading H679 3 7.
