Buyer's Premium:

A hand-painted blue and white earthenware moon flask of annular form, characteristic of the Multan region. The vessel features a central openwork wheel design with eight radiating spokes within the circular body. The primary faces are decorated with scrolling floral and leafy vines in shades of cobalt blue against a white tin-glazed ground. The outer circumference displays a repeating interlocking geometric pattern. The flask is topped with a short neck and a bulbous rim, decorated with vertical stripes. Two pierced suspension lugs are positioned on the shoulders for cord attachment. The piece rests on a flared, oval pedestal foot embellished with a radiating petal motif.
