A second edition of the official manual Al-Marasim (The Protocols), issued by the Diwan Kabir al-Umana (Office of the Grand Chamberlain) for the Kingdom of Egypt. This work serves as an official guide to court ceremonies, etiquette, and the regulations regarding royal honours and decorations. The volume is bound in the original red pebble-grained cloth, featuring gold-stamped Arabic calligraphy and the Egyptian royal crown emblem on the front cover and spine. The front cover includes the title, the issuing office, and the edition statement (Tabat thaniya).

The interior contains numerous illustrative plates, including several in colour, depicting the insignia of the Egyptian monarchy. Visible plates include a full-page illustration of the Order of the Nile (Nishan al-Nil), Third Class, and a page featuring three grades of the Medal of Merit (Nut al-Rida) in gold, silver, and bronze. The text and captions are entirely in Arabic. The book is produced in an octavo format.
