An official protocol and court etiquette manual issued by the Cabinet du Grand Chambellan (Office of the Grand Chamberlain) of the Royaume d’Egypte (Kingdom of Egypt). This quarto volume is bound in the publisher’s red cloth with gilt-stamped text and a royal crown emblem to the front board and spine. The work provides formal regulations for court life, precedence, and the display of state symbols. The interior includes several colour plates illustrating Egyptian royal orders, medals, and flags. Visible plates include the ‘Ordre de Mohamed Ali / Grand Cordon’, depicting jeweled insignias, and the ‘(8) Drapeau du Prince Héritier’, showing a green flag with a crescent, three stars, and a crown. The text is in French, the official diplomatic language of the Egyptian court during the mid-20th century.
