A cloisonné enamel on copper alloy vessel of bulbous form, identified as a lota. The exterior is decorated with a vibrant turquoise-blue ground featuring a repeating diamond-lattice or trellis pattern. Each cell contains a stylized white floral sprig with green foliage and a yellow centre. The shoulder and short neck are embellished with concentric bands of similar floral and foliate motifs, leading to a flared, lobed rim. The interior and base are unenamelled, revealing a dark, patinated copper alloy surface.
