A Persian amulet necklace featuring a prominent cylindrical hirz or tawiz pendant, traditionally used to contain protective prayers or verses. The pendant is constructed from silver and features two main panels of repousse calligraphy. These central panels are framed by fine beaded-wire borders. Ten decorative wire loops are arranged along the top edge, and the pendant is finished with smooth, domed terminals. Eight spherical bell-form charms are suspended from loops along the base.
