Islamic manuscript comprising a copy of Ghunyat al-Mutamalli Sharh Munyat al-Musalli, the noted commentary by the Hanafite scholar Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Halabi on the liturgical work Munyat al-Musalli. The volume is bound in heavily weathered dark brown leather featuring a blind-stamped central mandorla on the front cover. The interior is composed of cream-coloured paper with text written in a clear Naskh script in black ink, while key terms, section markers, and underlining are rubricated in red. The title page bears the full title and authorship attribution, accompanied by an oval ink seal and several handwritten ownership inscriptions in Arabic and Ottoman Turkish, including one identifying the book as belonging to Ibrahim Afandi. The text is densely annotated with marginalia in various hands throughout, and includes a table of contents in a grid format on an early leaf.
