Shaped in a robust conical form with a rounded body and tapering spout, the surface is intricately moulded with decorative bands of floral and geometric motifs in relief, interspersed with occasional traces of turquoise pigment. The top opening suggests use for containing combustible or liquid materials. This type of vessel is believed to have served as a military function during the Seljuk period.
