A trio of early 19th-century engravings on heavy wove paper, identified as plates 2, 5, and 6 from the series Arabian Details. These prints were executed by the French engraver Thérèse-Éléonore Lingée, as indicated by the transcription E. Lingée sculp. in the lower right corner of the plate area. The works were produced for Alexandre de Laborde’s publication Voyage pittoresque et historique de l’Espagne, published in Paris circa 1806 to 1820. The plates depict various architectural ornaments and Arabic calligraphic inscriptions, with trilingual titles provided in Spanish, French, and English at the lower margin. Plate 2 is titled 2d Plate of the Arabian Inscriptions and Details at Granada. Plate 5 is titled 5th Plate of the Arabian Details. Plate 6 is titled 6th Plate of the Arabian Details. The engravings exhibit sharp impressions with distinct, large rectangular plate marks. The verso of one sheet includes pencil notations reading LABORDE, s. XIX, and 40 Euro. The sheets feature untrimmed, deckled edges.
