The exterior is constructed from dark brown leather with a fine cross-hatched grain. The front features inset purple fabric panels heavily embellished with floral and foliate embroidery in gold and copper-toned metallic threads. The interior is lined in vibrant red leather and contains a central compartment with a leather divider. A small rectangular mirror is inset into the underside of the top flap. The reverse includes a horizontal leather hand-strap and two metal rings.
