This Indian decorative vessel features a dark, ovoid body with a matte, speckled greenish-grey finish. The material of the body appears to be ceramic or a natural specimen. The top of the vessel is fitted with two brownish, ridged collars and spouts, one positioned centrally and the other offset, both detailed with scalloped edges. The vessel is secured within an elaborate cast metal tripod stand designed in the Rococo Revival style. The stand includes scrolling acanthus leaf handles and three scrolling feet. The metal components exhibit a dark, aged patina. Per physical examination, the piece is identified as Indian.
