Lot 125:
Description
This lot consists of a traditional Yemeni jambiya dagger featuring a curved, double-edged steel blade with a prominent central rib. The waisted hilt is constructed from a dark material, likely horn or wood, and is embellished with small circular metal inlays and a decorated metal ferrule at the base. The accompanying scabbard is made of reddish-brown leather, featuring embossed cross-hatched geometric patterns on the face and a prominent hand-stitched seam along the reverse. The construction exhibits traditional tribal craftsmanship characteristic of the region.
