A silver-toned metal cylindrical case composed of two interlocking sections with rounded, bulbous terminals. The exterior is decorated with engraved floral scrollwork and several inset blue enameled circular medallions featuring stylized Shou longevity characters. A weathered leather carrying strap is attached to the body via two metal loops near the central junction. The object is constructed in two parts that fit together at a central friction joint.
