ISLAMIC, INDIAN ART & JEWELS
Lot 91:
Description
A group of three long hand-crafted silver chains, each tightly coiled for presentation. The links exhibit a traditional Middle Eastern chain-work style typical of Iraqi Jewish silverwork in the early–mid 20th century. Each chain terminates in a decorative enamelled silver finial featuring vibrant colours—green, blue, and white—depicting a stylised floral or geometric motif framed within a shaped silver mount. These enamel plaques are characteristic of Iraqi Judaica accessories, often seen on Torah ornaments, household ritual items, or personal adornments.
