TWO CASED SETS OF ART DECO TEA KNIVES, PROBABLY CHERRY AMBER RED HANDLES
Two cased sets of Art Deco period tea knives featuring cherry red composition handles. The first set consists of six knives with rounded stainless steel blades stamped Stainless Sheffield England, featuring plain rounded bolsters. They are housed in their original black leatherette case with a cream silk and dusky-pink velvet interior. The second set features six tea knives with sterling silver blades and decorative multi-ringed bolsters. The blades bear full British hallmarks including the maker mark for Barker Brothers (Silversmiths) Ltd, the Birmingham Assay Office anchor, the lion passant for sterling silver, and the date letter g for 1931. This set is presented in its original black leatherette case with a cream silk and royal blue velvet interior.
