Buyer's Premium:

An Ottoman pipe mouthpiece, likely for a nargile or chibouk, featuring two distinct sections of carved and polished opaque yellow egg-yolk amber. The lower portion is formed as a bulbous, pear-shaped vessel, while the upper portion is a tapering cylindrical stem. A central gilt-metal band joins the two amber pieces, decorated with floral cloisonné enamel depicting pink and white flowers with green leaves on a turquoise-blue ground. The base is finished with a small circular turquoise cabochon held within a gold-toned metal mount. The top aperture contains a dark, textured wooden insert.
