An architectural screen, known as a jali, hand-carved from a single rectangular slab of red sandstone. The central panel features an intricate pierced geometric lattice composed of interlacing lines that form six-pointed stars and hexagonal openings. Small, raised floral rosettes are situated at the primary intersections of the lattice. This openwork section is framed by a wide border decorated with a staggered, recessed square pattern, producing a checkerboard effect.
