Lot 83: AN EGYPTIAN LATE PERIOD PALE GREEN FAIENCE SHABTI, LATE PERIOD CIRCA 664–332 BCE

An ancient Egyptian shabti figure dating to the Late Period (circa 664–332 BCE), crafted from pale green glazed faience. The figurine is mummiform in appearance, wearing a striated tripartite wig and a divine braided beard. The arms are crossed over the chest, holding agricultural implements, specifically hoes. Several horizontal registers of incised hieroglyphic text encircle the body, although the specific inscriptions remain illegible at this resolution. The figure is supported by a vertical back pillar and stands upon an integral rectangular plinth.
