Estimated price: £200 - £400

Buyer's Premium:

An open-front short-sleeved robe or jacket, designed for a child, featuring a dense multi-coloured paisley or buteh pattern on a red ground with accents of purple and blue. The garment is constructed with a high gathered waistline that creates a full, pleated skirt section. The outer fabric is a patterned material, possibly a wool-blend, decorated with elaborate gold-toned cord or braid couched embroidery. This embroidery is applied along the front opening, the cuffs, the waistline, and the hem. Two prominent large paisley motifs are embroidered on the lower front panels. The interior is fully lined with a contrasting olive-green fabric, possibly an acetate or synthetic silk.
