This lot consists of two vintage gelatin silver prints depicting young men in formal Western-style attire. The first is a group portrait of four men, mounted on a large beige cardstock with a printed double-lined border. The second item is a postcard-format portrait of the man positioned on the far left of the group image. The reverse of the group mount features multiple handwritten inscriptions in Arabic script, including several distinct signatures and dates ranging from 21 September to 14 October 1929, with the location specified as Beirut (بيروت). The reverse of the postcard-format portrait is similarly inscribed in Arabic, dated 22 September 1929 in Beirut, and bears the name Mohammad Ali (محمد علي). An illegible signature is present in the lower right corner of the group photograph mount.
