Buyer's Premium:

A carved marble relief fragment depicting a nude male figure, likely a putto or erotes, rendered in high relief. The figure is depicted with a plump physique, standing with the left arm raised and the right arm positioned towards the hip. The surface of the marble exhibits a weathered appearance with significant erosion to the facial features and physical details. The fragment is irregular in form, indicating it originated from a larger architectural or funerary structure. The stone displays a naturally aged yellowish-tan patina. The item is secured to a modern black rectangular stepped plinth for display purposes.
