A decorative talismanic badge or brooch cast in the form of a traditional curved dagger, similar in profile to a jambiya. The item is constructed from a copper alloy featuring a surviving gold-gilt finish to the obverse. The entire front surface is densely decorated with raised Arabic calligraphy in a flowing cursive script. The rounded pommel is inscribed with the word Allah, while the cross-guard and blade feature further stylized religious or protective inscriptions. The reverse of the object exhibits a rough, pitted texture with a dark patina and areas of green verdigris. It is fitted with a single centrally located metal loop for attachment.
