Buyer's Premium:

A talismanic bead or pendant of elongated ellipsoidal form, carved from translucent rock crystal. The stone exhibits natural internal inclusions and a subtle yellowish-white tint. The bead is drilled through its longitudinal axis for suspension as a pendant or part of a larger ornament. The entire circumference is deeply incised with a cursive Islamic script, likely Arabic or Persian, executed in an intaglio technique. The calligraphy features interconnected characters including vertical strokes and rounded forms, characteristic of religious or protective inscriptions, such as the Asma al-Husna or Quranic verses.
