This circular plate is constructed of hammered copper with a tinned surface. The interior is decorated with chased and engraved ornamentation organized in concentric zones. The center features a multi-pointed rosette medallion with radiating lobes containing foliate motifs. This is surrounded by bands of scrolling arabesques and circular motifs. The primary decorative field consists of an islimi pattern featuring continuous scrolling vines, floral blossoms, and serrated leaves. A continuous band of calligraphic inscriptions in Perso-Arabic script runs along the outer border near the rim. The underside features a low integral foot rim and an adhered paper inventory label with the handwritten characters 17092 / 3 and partially obscured text below.
