The composition is centred around a large, symmetrical floral medallion, which is surrounded by a dense field of scrolling vines, multi-petaled flowers, and pomegranate or pinecone motifs. The central design is enclosed within a circular border. The top and bottom of the panel are finished with decorative borders featuring a series of arched, crenelated forms, each containing a small floral element. The textile is professionally stretched and mounted onto a rectangular wooden frame.
