Features a deep central well for fuel, a wide flat rim, and a separate openwork cover. The decorative program consists of dense pierced filigree and detailed surface engraving. Concentric bands of repeating floral blossoms within interlacing circular frames cover the surface. Interspersed throughout are circular medallions containing engraved figural scenes, including riders on horseback and elephants with howdahs, depicting courtly or hunting themes. The cover features a central radial sunburst or lotus motif bordered by vertical pierced slats. An arched handle embellished with scrolling vines is attached to the body via zoomorphic loops and short lengths of chain.
