Buyer's Premium:

This rectangular dressing table mirror is identified as a Pahlavi frame, originating from Iran during the Pahlavi dynasty. The frame is constructed from gilt metal, likely brass, featuring a decorative border with an outer beaded edge and an inner channel embossed with scrolling foliate and floral patterns. The top of the frame is surmounted by an ornate cast crest featuring a central coronet, modeled after the Pahlavi crown, which is flanked by symmetrical sprays of roses and acanthus leaves. The reverse consists of a solid metal backplate with an integrated, contoured easel stand attached by a top hinge and a metal security chain. A small ring is located at the top for wall mounting. The construction utilizes rivets and screws to secure the mirror plate and back.
