Features concentric lathe marks on both the exterior and interior surfaces, indicating it was produced through woodturning. The interior of the lid contains a hand-painted Indian miniature executed in opaque pigments with gold accents. The scene depicts a female figure holding a sword and a trishula while seated atop a large white rooster. She is positioned facing a male figure dressed in noble attire, including a turban and an embroidered robe. The painting style is consistent with regional Indian miniature traditions, such as the Pahari or Company schools.
