This architectural frieze is composed of glazed ceramic tiles in the Safavid style, featuring a horizontal arrangement with shaped, trefoil terminals at each end. The panel is decorated with a large-scale Arabic inscription in cobalt blue, rendering the Shahada: There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. This central text is set against a cream-colored ground with a visible craquelure pattern and is further embellished with scrolling foliate motifs in turquoise and blue, all framed by a solid turquoise border.
