Description
QADI ZADEH AL-RUMI, SHARH ASHKAL AL-TA SIS, COPIED BY ABDULMUTI BIN HASSAN DATED 938 AH (1531 AD)
This Islamic scientific manuscript is a commentary on geometry titled Sharh Ashkal al-Ta’sis (Commentary on the Fundamental Theorems) by the 15th-century polymath Qadi Zadeh al-Rumi. The work is bound in a dark maroon blind-tooled leather binding featuring a central almond-shaped medallion and multiple linear borders. The internal text is handwritten in black Naskh script on aged, cream-colored paper, with red ink used for headings, keywords, and numerous hand-drawn geometric diagrams illustrating mathematical proofs.
