Description
This antique Arabic manuscript contains the thirty-first part (juz) of Sunan Abu Dawood, a foundational collection of Hadith compiled by the 9th-century scholar Abu Dawood al-Sijistani. The volume is bound in dark brown leather decorated with blind-tooled borders and a central circular medallion featuring a geometric and floral pattern. The interior consists of cream-colored paper pages with text rendered in black Naskh script. Chapter headings are emphasized in red ink. The manuscript includes a title page with later ownership marks and marginalia. It concludes with a transmission record (sama) and a devotional poem.
