Description
A hand-written Islamic manuscript volume titled Bada’i’ al-Sana’i’ fi Tartib al-Shara’i’ by the Hanafi jurist Al-Kasani. The volume is bound in brown, blind-tooled leather featuring a central scalloped medallion and ruled borders. The interior consists of handmade paper with text executed in black Naskh script, utilizing red ink for headings and key terms. A prominent illuminated headpiece or Unwan is decorated with blue, gold, and red floral and geometric motifs, introducing the section on the Book of Wills or Kitab al-Wasaya. The manuscript identifies itself as the eighth part of the larger work.
